The Inspector General of police (IGP), Ibrahim K Idris has paid a visit to Delta state where he conducted On-the-spot Assessment and Aerial Surveillance of Creeks.
Mr Ibrahim on Friday, July 1 conducted on-the-spot assessment and evaluation of security situation in some flash points in Delta state.
Meanwhile, reports have it that the Police Service Commission (PSC) has confirmed the disengagement from duty of 21 Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs) of Police, who were senior to the new acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Idris Ibrahim, before he was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
