A D.C. woman has been charged in the fatal stabbing of a man in a Southeast D.C. home early Saturday.
Lakisha Young, 42, of Southeast D.C., faces a charge of second degree murder while armed in the death of 50-year-old Alan Smith. Metropolitan Police called that incident “domestic related,” but did not disclose the relationship between Young and Smith.
Metropolitan Police said officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a home in the 2300 block of Hartford Street Southeast at about 3:25 a.m. Saturday. They found Smith inside a home suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
