HARARE - Protesters in Zimbabwe are warning of another mass stay-away next week if the government ignores their demands.
More than 100 people have been arrested since yesterday's national shutdown.
It was initiated in April by a movement calling itself “this flag” demanding that the state act on corruption, injustice and poverty.
The campaign has attracted thousands of followers who have been speaking out against government excesses.
EWN’s Zimbabwe correspondent says one of the leaders of the movement released a video last night listing their demands.
Disbanding police roadblocks, putting in pot controls and ensuring that civil servants are paid on time, he says if those demands aren't met they will call for another stay-away for two days next week.
