Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has asked Muslims around the world to restore the global peace that has been challenged by wars and economic instability.
Governor Bello stated this after observing his prayer on Wednesday in commemoration of the Eid-el-Fitr in Okene, Kogi State.
He also urged the civil servants in the state to be law abiding, saying government was doing its best to provide them the dividends of democracy.
The Governor added that his administration was on track to re-position Kogi State through quality education, efficient healthcare delivery and youth empowerment.
He also assured the people of the state in north-central Nigeria of better days ahead.
The people of Okene could not hide their joy as it was the first time a sitting governor will travel down to the town to observe prayers during festivity.
