"Extend Holy Living Beyond Ramadan" Gov Ambode charges muslims

In a series tweets from his official twitter handle @akinwunmiambode, Lagos state governor charge muslim faithfuls to extend holy living beyond the month of ramadan. He also promised security and a conducive atmosphere for them as they celebrate this year's ramadan. See the tweets below:

  1. It is important for us to continue with the principles of the Holy Month.
     
  2. We must all play our parts and keep relating with this govt and we'll not fail in making Lagos work for all of us
     
  3. As a government, we seek for support and cooperation as we move into the second year of this administration.
     
  4. Our Muslim brothers & sisters must remember the essence of the holy month and the expected renewal of faith & spiritual cleansing of souls.
  5. We thank God for giving Muslims the strength to complete the thirty-day fasting.
     
  6. We enjoin Muslim faithful and indeed all Lagosians to sustain the lessons of Ramadan.
  7. We want to encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to pray for the State and the country in general.
     
  8. We want to assure Muslim faithful and the general public of safety.
  9. We want to assure Lagosians that adequate & necessary security measures have been put in place during & after the Eid el-Fitri celebrations.
