The centre for world university ranking has published its ranking for the 2016/2017 session. It is however very saddening that no Nigeria university is among the top most 1000 universities in the world.
According the ranking, the USA is the host to the world's top three universities namely, Harvard university, Stanford University and Massachussetts Institute of Technology.
The foremost university in UK is University of Cambridge which maintained fourth position in the world ranking followed by University of Oxford.
However, it is not all gloom for Nigeria as she ranks 80 in the electrical and electronics engineering , 93 in multidisciplinary chemistry and 79 in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
