Fire outbreak kills seven in South African orphanage

Seven people including children, have been reported dead after a fire outbreak in an orphanage in
Durban, South Africa, today, July 14. According to reports, the people who died in the fire were aged between 4-years and 21-years old.

Confirming the incident, the South Africa’s emergency service spokesperson, Robert McKenzie, said they had received a call concerning the fire around 2.20am, and added that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Here’s what he said: “Tragically seven people were killed, among them several children.

 Reports from the scene is that much of the building has been destroyed.”
