Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Baby Saint Makes First Public Appearance

We imagine that the Kardashian family keeps very different baby books than the rest of the world. For example, we commoners, whose every move is not tracked by an E! camera crew, celebrate pedestrian milestones such as baby's first step, baby's first birthday, baby's first word. But the Kardashians, we presume, keep a baby book filled with more Kardashian-specific landmarks: baby's first Keeping Up with the Kardashians story arc, baby's first sponsored Tweet, baby's first tabloid scandal, and perhaps most significant for pop culture's most closely-followed family, baby's first paparazzi encounter—the last of which Saint West triumphantly marked this past week.
On Tuesday, Saint West joined father Kanye West, mother Kim Kardashian, and sister North West for an outing in Cuba. The five-month-old adhered to the family's dress code, wearing a two-piece white ensemble that is probably designer, was sold out the minute the photo was published, and has already been donated to the Smithsonian. Doing his Kardashian lineage proud, the infant appeared to react calmly to surrounding photographers—as if he somehow knew that being flanked by flashing bulbs was his fate. The Daily Mail, which has exclusive photos, reports that the photos were taken as the family checked into their Havana hotel on Tuesday.
Although the family was photographed elsewhere in Havana—including at an amusement park on Thursday—the hotel entry seems to have marked Saint West's only outing. And sadly, the tot and his family have already departed the photo op island on Friday.
This past February, Saint West reached another important milestone—his first photo to be liked on Twitter over 3 million times.

The birth of Kardashian's second child was so anticipated that Jennifer Lawrence compared the excitement to that around the birth of Princess Charlotte. (An Oscar winner acknowledging your existence in an interview is obviously another Kardashian baby milestone.)
“Oh, my God! It was like when Princess Kate was having a princess,” Lawrence said, referring to Charlotte, born in May. “I can't wait for it to be 16 years from now, we'll have a teenage princess. That's just the same in America, and we'll have a little prince.”
Shortly after Saint's birth, it was reported that he, like North, will not be featured on the family's E! reality show, which is now in its 12th season.
Earlier on Friday, VF.com reported about the family's other adventures in Cuba—like posing for photos in front of a monument dedicated to Fidel Castro, driving around in classic cars (above), and filming scenes for their E! reality series. The West-Kardashian family was joined in Havana by Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Khloé’s best friend Malika Haqq. You're welcome, Cuba!
