Kim is certainly no stranger to being naked. Remember right at the start if her career when she posed naked for Playboy magazine? Then that followed with various sexy shoots and of course, her crowning glory, her full frontal, completely butt-naked shoot for Paper Magazine.
The Paper Magazine cover bared the title ‘Break The Internet Kim Kardashian’ – and that’s exactly what the reality star has done since. And in honour of that, Kim has received the inaugural ‘Break The Internet’ award at the annual Webby Awards.
For some background, the Webby Awards are almost like the Oscar’s of the internet. They are given to influential people who have utilized the web in various ways for themselves.
According to the Webby Awards, they gave the inaugural ‘Break The Internet’ award to Kim because of the way she uses social media to reach her followers and design a ‘different’ kind of celebrity:
“…in recognition of her unprecedented success online and the bold and creative ways she has used the Internet, social media, apps and video to connect with a truly global audience,” a part of the statement read.
Kim attended the awards last night, where she accepted her ‘Break The Internet Award’.
And, according to her, we can expect a lot more naked selfies from her!
In her acceptance speech (which, at the Webby Awards, is only allowed to be 5 words long) Kim simply said:
“Naked selfies until I die”
Well there you have it, Kim will continue to break the internet with her naked selfies for a long, long time.
